Bloomreach Content Open Source Plugins
Bloomreach Content uses a pluggable architecture. You can extend its functionality by adding plugins. Plugins are available with three support levels:
- Default plugins: Included in the Bloomreach Content archetype by default.
- Standard plugins: Most are available from the Essentials feature library.
- Community plugins: Maintained by the community and available from the Bloomreach Forge on GitHub, with documentation at GitHub.io.
Default and standard plugins are tested against each Bloomreach Content release, meet Bloomreach quality standards, and include documentation.
Default Plugins
Default plugins are developed and supported by Bloomreach. They are included in the Maven archetype used to start Bloomreach Content projects. No additional installation steps are required through the setup application.

Community Plugins at Bloomreach Forge
Community plugins are maintained by the Bloomreach Content community. The community is responsible for ensuring these plugins meet quality standards, include documentation, and are compatible with new Bloomreach Content releases.
