Hide a Namespace in the CMS Editor

If your plugin defines a namespace that should not be editable in the CMS, configure the CMS to hide that namespace from editors. Use the following configuration steps to remove the namespace from both the folder tree view and the folder list view in the CMS editor.

Hide the Namespace in the Folder Tree View

By default, the folder tree view (left pane) displays all namespaces. To exclude your namespace from this view, add a configuration file as shown below.

If you create this configuration manually in the Console during development, ensure that the frontend:pluginconfig node is placed before the showOtherNamespaces node.

Hide the Namespace in the Folder List View

The folder list view (right pane) also displays all namespaces by default. To hide your namespace from this view, add the following configuration file.

If you create this configuration manually in the Console during development, ensure that the frontend:pluginconfig node is placed before the showOtherNamespaces node.
