Bloomreach Cloud Pageview Definition

This page defines how Bloomreach Cloud calculates pageviews for Content PaaS and Self-Hosted (formerly brXM/Experience Manager) services.

What Counts as a Pageview (Content PaaS)

Bloomreach Cloud counts a request as a pageview if all of the following conditions are met:

• The response status code is between 200 and 299.
• The request method is GET.
• The request path does not start with /binaries or /ping. Requests to /binaries serve binary assets such as images and files and are excluded from pageview counts.
• The request path either:
  • Ends with .html, .htm, .jsp, or .ftl, or
  • Has no file extension.

Data Source

Bloomreach Cloud uses Humio access logs as the single source of truth for Content PaaS pageview data.

The Cloud team continuously monitors these access logs in Humio. All Bloomreach Cloud customers have access to this data.
