Poll Plugin Developer Guide - Poll Parameters

The poll plugin parameters are defined in the PollProvider delegate class. When you implement custom components that delegate to PollProvider, those components use the parameters described in this section.

Parameter	Description
poll-docsPath	Specifies the absolute repository content path where the poll component locates the poll document. When using the default and recommended PollDocumentComponent, set this path to the handle node of the poll document. If you use the legacy PollComponent, set the path to the folder containing the poll document. If the folder contains multiple poll documents, the component uses the first one it finds. The path must begin with a forward slash (/). This parameter is required.
poll-docsClass	Defines the class of the content beans that represent poll documents for this component instance. By default, this is set to org.onehippo.forge.poll.contentbean.PollDocument. If you create a custom document type (including a custom poll compound type), implement a content bean that extends org.hippoecm.hst.content.beans.standard.HippoDocumentBean and set this parameter to the fully qualified class name of your bean.
poll-pollCompoundName	Sets the JCR name of the poll compound within your poll document. The PollProvider uses this name to access the core poll data. The default value is poll:poll, which matches the document type included with the poll plugin.
poll-dataPath	Specifies the repository location where poll data (votes) are stored. By default, the poll plugin stores all poll data in a separate root-level folder named /polldata. Do not change this unless necessary. Creating a new root-level repository folder is not permitted at runtime.
