    Note: The script queries all documents and may be resource-intensive. Adjust the query, throttle, or batch size as needed. After initial execution, metadata will remain synchronized as translations are added or documents are deleted.

Upgrade steps for 5.3.0

Configuration for multiple connectors has changed. The new configuration is bootstrapped automatically. If your project contains bootstrap data based on the previous configuration, update it to match the new structure.

Connector configuration has moved from
/hippo:configuration/hippo:modules/translation-services-daemon/hippo:moduleconfig/translationsaddon:connector
to
.../translationsaddon:connector-{connector name},
for example, translationsaddon:connector-livewords or translationsaddon:connector-globallink.

Existing translation jobs must be updated. All nodes of type translationsaddon:job require a translationsaddon:connector (String) property with a value matching the connector class name (e.g., LivewordsTranslationConnector, TesterTranslationConnector, GlobalLinkTranslationConnector). You can add this property manually in the console or by using a Groovy Updater Script.

To upgrade:

  1. Update all references to /hippo:configuration/hippo:modules/translation-services-daemon/hippo:moduleconfig/translationsaddon:connector in your bootstrap YAML files to /hippo:configuration/hippo:modules/translation-services-daemon/hippo:moduleconfig/translationsaddon:connector-{connector name}.
    Ensure that environment-specific configurations (such as URLs and passwords) are also updated outside bootstrap files as needed.

  2. Remove any connector configurations you do not intend to use.

  3. For all nodes of type translationsaddon:job, add the translationsaddon:connector (String) property if it does not exist, with a value matching the connector class name.
    Note: From version 5.4.11 onward, the overview dashboard is more robust against missing properties.
