Set up a Bloomreach Content Enterprise Project

Steps to Create a Bloomreach Content Enterprise Project

1. Request an account for the Bloomreach Content Enterprise Maven repository and configure your Maven settings.
2. Generate a Maven project using the Bloomreach Content Website Archetype. Follow the instructions in the Get Started Tutorial, specifically the "Create the project" section.
3. Convert the Bloomreach Content Developer Edition project to an Enterprise project as described below.
4. Add individual Bloomreach Content Enterprise features as needed. Refer to the documentation for each feature. For example, see Reporting Dashboard.

Conversion Using Essentials

In Essentials, you can select the option to enable Enterprise features on the introduction screen. To install Enterprise features, you must have access to the Bloomreach Content Enterprise Maven repository as described in step 1.

When you install an Enterprise feature (such as the URL Rewriter), Essentials automatically converts your project to an Enterprise project.

If you only want to convert your project without adding any Enterprise features, install the Convert to Enterprise Project feature. This triggers only the conversion process described in the manual steps below.

Manual Conversion

To convert a Developer Edition project to an Enterprise project without using Essentials, follow these steps:

1. In the main pom.xml file, update the parent POM from org.onehippo.cms7:hippo-cms7-release to com.onehippo.cms7:hippo-cms7-enterprise-release. For example:

     <artifactId>hippo-cms7-enterprise-release</artifactId>
     <version>{hippo-enterprise-version}</version>
   </parent>

2. In the main pom.xml, add the Bloomreach Maven Enterprise repository:

4. In site/components/pom.xml, add the following dependency:
