Relax User Restrictions

By default, only users with specific administrator privileges can access URL Rewriter rules in the Content application. The required user roles are:

• xm.urlrewriter.admin (version 14.2 and later)
• xm.repository.admin (versions 14.0–14.1)

The repository configuration for this restriction is shown below:

  hipposys:userrole: xm.urlrewriter.admin

To allow additional users to access URL Rewriter rules, update the hipposys:userrole property on the urlrewriterTreeLoader node. Assign a different user role, such as xm.content.user, to grant access to all users who can access the Content application.
