Channel Editor Catalog

The Channel Editor displays a list of components in the Component Toolbar. These components are sourced from the HST catalog, which is configured at:

/hst:hst/hst:configurations/mychannel/hst:catalog

Defining Catalog Items for the Channel Editor

Each component in the HST catalog is represented by a child node with the primary node type hst:containeritemcomponent.

Example configuration:

Use the hst:label property to set the component name in the Component Toolbar. Use the hst:iconpath property to specify the icon. The icon path must be relative to the root of the site application.

Using Reusable Components

The HstResourceServlet allows you to load images and other resources from the classpath. By convention, this servlet is mapped as follows:

To include resources for reusable catalog components, place them in:

src/main/resources/META-INF/web-resources/my-image.png

In the HST configuration, set the icon path property as follows:
