Prerequisites

To create a new Bloomreach Content project, you generate a Maven project using the Bloomreach Content archetype. The required Java and Maven versions depend on the Bloomreach Content version you plan to use:

- Maven 3.9.0 or later

- Java 17 installed and configured
- Maven 3.5.4 or later

- Java 11 installed and configured
- Maven 3.5.4 or later

- Java 8 installed and configured
- Maven 3.3.9 or later
You should be familiar with basic Maven usage. Verify that your Maven installation is working correctly. On Windows, ensure that neither the Maven installation path nor the local Maven repository path contains spaces.
Using an IDE
