Configuration Management
Overview
Configuration management in Bloomreach Content provides a structured approach to managing repository data. This includes processes for bootstrapping, establishing baselines, and separating or migrating configuration and content stored within the repository.
Configuration and content intended for bootstrapping are defined using the YAML 1.1 format.
Both Bloomreach Content's core building blocks and project-specific code contribute configuration and content. Bloomreach Content aggregates these contributions into a single, in-memory configuration model. The system applies a defined processing order to ensure consistent results. The resulting configuration model can be pushed to the repository, compared with existing repository configuration, saved, loaded, or restored as a baseline. This model serves as a controlled and versioned representation of the configuration state.
