Fully Qualified Links in Rich Text Content

Overview

This page explains how to render links in rich text content as fully qualified URLs in Bloomreach Content.

Default Behavior

By default, links in rich text content are rendered as relative URLs. This applies to both href and src attributes within the content.

Enabling Fully Qualified URLs

To output all links as fully qualified URLs—including scheme, hostname, and port (if present)—set the fullyQualifiedLinks attribute to true on the <hst:html> tag.

When enabled, the system rewrites all href and src attributes in the rendered HTML to use fully qualified URLs.
