Open UI Extensions

You can extend the Bloomreach Content user interface using predefined Open UI extension points. An Open UI extension is an application that either deploys with your project or runs on a separate server. The extension displays within an iframe in the Experience Manager UI. Use the JavaScript client library to enable communication between your extension and the Experience Manager interface.

Currently, extension points are available for page tools in the Experience Manager and for document fields in the content editor. Both types of extensions can open dialogs. Additional extension points may be introduced in future releases.

As of brXM version 15, if your Open UI extension runs on an external URL, you must add its domain to the Content Security Policy.
