Overview
The Content Component exposes the main content of a web page as a Java bean to the rendering template (JSP or Freemarker). The specific content made available depends on the requested URL and the site map configuration. If the component cannot resolve any content for the request, it sets the HTTP response status to 404 and redirects to the site's "not found" page.
Do not reference this component from an hst:catalog component. If you add it to a page that does not have associated content (as determined by the matching sitemap item), it will trigger a redirect to the 404 page and will not render.
