Upgrade 15.0 to 15.1

Overview

This guide describes how to upgrade a Bloomreach Content project from version 15.0.x to 15.1.y.

Significant Changes

• Multi-target replication is now available. This feature is backward compatible.

Upgrade Procedure

1. Complete Generic Minor Upgrade Steps

Follow the generic instructions for minor upgrades before proceeding.

2. Review Custom Code for Library Compatibility

Several libraries have been updated in version 15.1. Review your custom project code for compatibility with these changes:

• xmlbeans: If your project processes custom REST API requests with XML payloads, verify that your implementation is compatible with the updated xmlbeans library.
• PDFBox and POI: If your project extracts text from office file formats, ensure compatibility with the updated PDFBox and POI libraries.

These updates address security vulnerabilities but may introduce backward compatibility issues. Review your code and test relevant functionality after the upgrade.
