Bloomreach Commerce Accelerator 14.3.0 Upgrade Notes

This guide describes how to upgrade to Bloomreach Commerce Accelerator 14.3.0.

You must upgrade your project to Bloomreach Commerce Accelerator 14.2.x before proceeding with the 14.3.0 upgrade.

Deprecated APIs and Features

Commerce Connector SDK Deprecation

Starting with version 14.3.0, most of the Java-based Commerce Connector SDK is deprecated. The brX GraphQL Service is now the preferred integration method. APIs related to core features such as Commerce Connector metadata and B2B Account abstraction are not deprecated, as they remain necessary for integrations using the brX GraphQL Service.

The Java-based Commerce Connector SDK may be removed in a future major release when all equivalent features for supported Commerce Backend Platforms are available through the brX GraphQL Service.

Deprecation of External Document Picker-Based Picker UIs

As of version 14.3.0, Picker Plugins based on the External Document Picker are deprecated. Use Open UI-based Pickers for new implementations.

External Document Picker-based Picker Plugins may be removed in a future major release once all equivalent features are supported by Open UI-based Pickers for the relevant Commerce Backend Platforms.

Upgrading Bloomreach B2C Commerce Accelerator

To upgrade your B2C Commerce Accelerator project:

Update the parent POM dependency in your project:

  <artifactId>hippo-cms7-enterprise-release</artifactId>
  <version>14.3.0</version>
</parent>

Update the following properties in the root pom.xml file:

<essentials.version>14.3.0</essentials.version>
<hippo.addon-universal-pixel-integration.version>14.3.0</hippo.addon-universal-pixel-integration.version>
<starterstore.version>14.3.0</starterstore.version>

Rebuild and restart your project to complete the upgrade.

Upgrading Bloomreach B2B Commerce Accelerator

To upgrade your B2B Commerce Accelerator project:

Update the parent POM dependency in your project:
