HST Core Spring Extension Points
Bloomreach Content projects can use or override specific Spring-managed bean IDs exposed by the HST core.
A Spring bean is classified as API if your project can use it directly. You can retrieve these beans through HST's ComponentManager or inject them into your own Spring beans using configuration, such as constructor arguments or setter methods.
A Spring bean is classified as SPI (Service Provider Interface) if your project is allowed to override it. To override an SPI bean, define a project-specific Spring bean with the same ID. For more information, see Overriding HST Core Spring Beans.
The following table lists the Spring beans managed by the HST core that are intended for API or SPI usage in projects.
