For DevOps Engineers
Bloomreach Experience Manager can be deployed on Bloomreach Cloud (PaaS) or on-premise with Apache Tomcat. The Deploy section covers infrastructure setup, database configuration, clustering, performance tuning, maintenance, and version upgrades.
What you'll find in the Deploy section
Bloomreach Cloud
Deploy and manage your project on Bloomreach's managed platform. Covers the Cloud API, concepts and terminology, restrictions, and the deployment tutorial.
On-Premise Deployment
Set up brXM on your own infrastructure — database configuration (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server), Apache reverse proxy, SSL/TLS, and Tomcat 10 / Java 17.
Administration
Maintain your running instance: fix repository inconsistencies, clean up version history and data storage, manage event logs, and configure the BundleCache.
Performance & Scaling
Tune performance, configure replication for high availability, and set up backup and restore strategies for production environments.
Upgrades
Upgrade between brXM versions — both minor version upgrades (16.x to 16.y) and major version upgrades (15 to 16).
