Prepare the Environment
Follow these steps to set up a production environment for Bloomreach Experience Manager.
1. Install a Supported Database Server
Select and install a database server that is compatible with Bloomreach Experience Manager.

2. Install Java Virtual Machine
Install a supported Java Virtual Machine (JVM) version.

3. Configure the Application Server
Set up your application server to run Bloomreach Experience Manager.
- Refer to Application Server Configuration for general instructions.
- For Apache Tomcat on Linux, follow the Linux Installation Manual.
Configure Bloomreach Experience Manager for Your Database
After installing the application server, configure Bloomreach Experience Manager to connect to your chosen database:
4. Configure Web Server or Reverse Proxy
Set up a web server or reverse proxy in front of your application server.
